I'm an Australian abstract artist exploring the intangible—those unseen energies and human experiences that shape our existence. Through movement, colour, and patterns, I seek to translate these ethereal concepts into tangible expressions across a variety of mediums, from acrylic painting to lighting art and the intricate designs of surface patterns. Inspired by artists like Hilma af Klint and Yayoi Kusama, I aim to create art as an energy exchange, fostering connection and reflection.
In 2020, I made a significant career change from Engineering to pursue my passion for visual art, graphic design, and lighting, ultimately leading me to work as an Artist. I began with a move from Australia to Copenhagen to study my Masters in Lighting Design where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in digital techniques, art and design thinking in another culture. Through this experience I began to focus further on artistic creations, including writing and publishing my thesis research on pattern and colour design using lighting projections. Over the years I've also created and exhibited Lighting Art installations as a part of the Copenhagen Light Festival and Aarhus Festival.
Now, based in Copenhagen, I create fine art paintings, lighting art and surface pattern designs.
